Charlotte has gone 10-0 against North Port recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Charlotte Fightin' Tarpons just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the North Port Bobcats at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Charlotte has three straight wins, North Port has six straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

On Monday, Charlotte was fully in charge, breezing past IMG Academy Gray 69-31. The Fightin' Tarpons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 22 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, North Port came up short against Avon Park on Monday and fell 64-51. While losing is never fun, the Bobcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 551st, while the Red Devils are ranked 223rd).

Charlotte's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-6. As for North Port, their loss dropped their record down to 3-14.

Everything came up roses for Charlotte against North Port when the teams last played back in November of 2024, as the squad secured an 82-48 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Charlotte since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
