The biggest upset of the week belonged to North Cross, who took down 192nd ranked North Cross, 41-14. Tristan Allen threw for 96 yards and one touchdown and ran for nine yards in the win.
Covenant's Jamie Gaston rumbled for the longest rushing play in VISFA Old Dominion this season in his game against Massanutten Military Academy last week. Gaston scampered for 73 yards on the play and finished with 322 on the day as his team topped the Colonels.
PJ White was the best wideout in the league this week as Blue Ridge defeated the Raiders. White racked up three receptions for 96 yards.
Max Revercomb put up the best numbers through the air as North Cross fell to the Barons. He finished with 15 completions for 155 yards and two touchdowns. Revercomb's favorite target this week was Jordan Lowery, who caught four passes for 80 yards.
The Raiders' Revercomb and Lowery have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Revercomb has thrown for 721 yards this season, while Lowery, a 5-foot-11 receiver, has 16 catches for 268 yards. Covenant's Gaston leads the league in rushing yards with 609.
A big matchup in VISFA Old Dominion this week will be when Dave Rocco's team takes on Blue Ridge. The Eagles are currently in third, while Orlando Patterson's team is in second.
Virginia Episcopal School extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Atlantic Shores Christian, 27-26. This was the team's fourth consecutive win.
