Softball Recap: East Hardy Takes a Loss

East Hardy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 15-2 to the Martinsburg Bulldogs. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Cougars couldn't push the score so high this time.

Addison Armentrout was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and two runs. That home run marked the first that she launched this season.

East Hardy's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Martinsburg, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-12.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. East Hardy will face off against Berkeley Springs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Martinsburg, they will be playing at home against Washington at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
