Basketball Recap: Rock Creek Academy Takes a Loss

Rock Creek Academy was the 67-35 winner over Shoals when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Rock Creek Academy Lions lost 49-28 to the Shoals Jug Rox on Saturday.

Rock Creek Academy has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season. As for Shoals, they moved to 2-12 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Rock Creek Academy will take on Shawe Memorial at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Shoals, they will head out on the road to square off against Eastern Greene at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
