Football Recap: Great Oak's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Friday

Great Oak and Villa Park squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Great Oak had to settle for second. They lost 30-6 to the Spartans. The Wolfpack were red-hot offensively heading into the game (they scored no less than 31 points in the four matchups prior), but the Spartans' defense proved too tough.

Trent Lux threw for 37 yards on three of five attempts. On the ground, Ryder Smith rushed for 71 yards.
