Basketball Recap: Brentwood Christian Takes a Loss

Brentwood Christian lost against Grace Community back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Brentwood Christian Bears were dealt a 63-17 defeat at the hands of the Grace Community Cougars. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Paige Gilmore was a one-woman wrecking crew for Grace Community as she went 7-for-8 to rack up 19 points and seven steals. Gilmore's morning made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kat Neal, who dropped a double-double with ten points and 11 rebounds.

Brentwood Christian's loss dropped their record down to 10-17. As for Grace Community, their win bumped their record up to 17-12.

Brentwood Christian has already played their next game, a 77-4 defeat against Midland Christian on the 18th. As for Grace Community, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 55-48 victory against Christian Heritage on the 11th.
