Jaylynn Baldwin put up the most strikeouts she's had since April 1st on Tuesday. She struck out nine batters over 6.2 innings while giving up five earned runs off nine hits. Considering she played a big game the last time she faced off against University Liggett on Tuesday, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock. Baldwin has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Baldwin and Notre Dame Academy will head out on the road to face off against Bishop Foley at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Ventures swept Richard off the field in their last game, a feat they'll no doubt try to repeat. Will the Eagles be able to hold them off?
