Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Middle Creek). Everything went their way against the Lee County Yellow Jackets on Thursday as they made off with a 9-0 win. Middle Creek haven't had any issues with Lee County recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Middle Creek's offense was hitting Lee County from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Hailey Catilico led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Middle Creek's win bumped their record up to 7-14. As for Lee County, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-9.

Middle Creek does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lee County, they will face off against Eastern Alamance at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Lee County will need to watch out since Eastern Alamance have now posted at least four goals in their last five games.
