Baseball Recap: Conway Christian Comes Up Short

Conway Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Marlboro Academy Dragons, falling 18-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Dragons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-0 back in March.

Conway Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Marlboro Academy, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Conway Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Marlboro Academy, they will challenge King's Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Dragons' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Lions have averaged an impressive 8.6 runs per game this season.
