Inola hadn't done well against Oologah recently (they were 1-6 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Longhorns came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of 4-1. This was payback for the Longhorns, who suffered an 11-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The win made it two in a row for Inola and bumps their season record up to 15-7. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Oologah, they dropped their record down to 3-6 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Inola will challenge Kansas at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Oologah does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
