Soccer Game Preview: Corsicana vs. Ennis

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Corsicana challenge the Ennis at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Corsicana is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3 goals per game this season.

Last Friday, Corsicana and Red Oak finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw.

Corsicana's goal came courtesy of Chris Velasquez, who's now up to 19 this season.

Meanwhile, Ennis has been on a difficult stretch since their win on January 22. They fell 3-1 to Midlothian on Friday.

Ennis' loss dropped their record down to 2-6-2. Corsicana's draw makes their record 8-3-2 this season.

Corsicana might still be hurting after the 5-1 defeat they got from Ennis in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. Can Corsicana avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
