Somerset and Calallen squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Somerset had to settle for second. They lost 49-28 to the Calallen Wildcats. The loss continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now lost five in a row.

With the loss, Somerset broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-3. As for Calallen, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-2.
Somerset does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Calallen has also already played their next game, a 28-21 defeat against Bay City on the 29th.
