Soccer Game Preview: Burleson vs. Mansfield Timberview

The Burleson Elks will face off against the Mansfield Timberview Wolves at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Mansfield Timberview will have to contend with a Burleson team hungry for a victory, something the squad hasn't seen since December 13. Burleson lost 3-0 to Everman on Friday.

Meanwhile, Mansfield Timberview has also been struggling lately as the squad is still hunting for their first win of the season. They came up short against Joshua on Friday, falling 4-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Wolves were already down 3-0.

Mansfield Timberview's loss dropped their record down to 0-6-3. As for Burleson, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6-1.

Burleson beat Mansfield Timberview by a goal when the teams last played back in February of 2024, winning 1-0. Does Burleson have another victory up their sleeve, or will Mansfield Timberview turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
