Basketball Recap: Cupertino Takes a Loss

Cupertino lost against Homestead back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Cupertino Pioneers had to suffer through a 52-9 loss at the hands of the Homestead Mustangs. The match marked the Pioneers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Houma Yoshimochi was Cupertino's leading scorer, having posted four points. Jasper Khoo held things down on the boards with three rebounds.

Cupertino has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season. As for Homestead, they pushed their record up to 16-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Cupertino has already played their next matchup (against MacDonald), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Homestead has also has no score uploaded for their next game, this one against Lynbrook.
