Homewood is 6-1 against Jackson-Olin since December of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Homewood Patriots will welcome the Jackson-Olin Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. Homewood has insisted on making their lastthree contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 2-1 during that stretch of close contests.

Last Thursday, Homewood had just enough and edged Parker out 61-58.

Meanwhile, Jackson-Olin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 18th straight loss dating back to last season. They received a blow as they fell 62-46 to Minor. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 339th, while the Tigers are ranked 25th).

Jackson-Olin's defeat dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Homewood, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-9 record this season.

Everything came up roses for Homewood against Jackson-Olin when the teams last played back in January of 2024, as the team secured a 64-23 win. Will Homewood repeat their success, or does Jackson-Olin have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
