Softball Recap: Glastonbury Takes a Loss

If Glastonbury was riding high fresh off their 22-14 takedown of East Catholic on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Guardians lost 7-1 to the Enfield Eagles on Saturday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 back in April.

Taylor Page was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two doubles and one RBI.

Glastonbury's defeat dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Enfield, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season.

Glastonbury will take on RHAM at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. The Raptors will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Guardians surely won't give up without a fight. Enfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
