Baseball Recap: LaBelle Cowboys/Cowgirls vs. Seymour Thunder
LaBelle can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Thursday. They blew past the Seymour Thunder 9-1. The win was just what LaBelle needed coming off of a 16-3 defeat in their prior game.
The team relied heavily on Derex Cancel, who scored a run and stole a base while going 4-for-4. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now stolen at least one in the last three games he's played. Anthony Duran was another key contributor, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-2.

LaBelle will look to defend their home field on Monday against Avon Park at 6:00 p.m. LaBelle is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 7.2 runs per game this season. As for Seymour, they will take on Celebration at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Seymour is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
