Football Game Preview: Sand Creek Scorpions vs. Gateway Olympians + How To Watch

Two dominant backs in Ethan Mangrum and Lyric Wynn are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Sand Creek Scorpions will look to defend their home field on Friday against the Gateway Olympians at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in Sand Creek's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.

On Friday, Sand Creek was able to grind out a solid win over Cheyenne Mountain, taking the game 52-45.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Gateway's offense. They were beaten by Centaurus 51-0 on Friday. The Olympians haven't had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Gateway's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Sand Creek, their victory bumped their record up to 7-0.

Everything came up roses for Sand Creek against Gateway in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 52-0 win. Will the Scorpions repeat their success, or do the Olympians have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
