Basketball Recap: Reedy Finds Home Court Redemption Against Anna

There's no place like home for Reedy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They took down the Anna Coyotes 73-58 on Thursday. This was payback for the Lions, who suffered a 50-25 loss the last time these two teams met.

Kai Johnson had a dynamite game, shooting 61% from the field en route to 24 points and eight boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Dylan Morris, who dropped a double-double with ten points and 11 assists.

Reedy was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Anna only racked up eight.

Anna's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Noah Foster, who went 7-for-12 to rack up 20 points. Caleb Smith was another key player, putting up ten points and seven rebounds.

The victory got Reedy back to even at 1-1. As for Anna, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Reedy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 97-57 defeat against Little Elm on the 21st. As for Anna, they have also already played their next contest, a 56-28 loss against Red Oak on the 21st.
