Baseball Recap: Walhalla Takes a Loss

After soaring to 14 runs the game before, Walhalla was a bit more limited in their matchup on Saturday. They came up short against the Daniel Lions, falling 16-2. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Razorbacks of the 10-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Nate Johnson was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Walhalla's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Daniel, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Walhalla wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 3-2 victory against Travelers Rest on the 4th. As for Daniel, they have also already played their next contest, a 14-3 win against West-Oak on the 3rd.
