Football Recap: Hico Tigers vs. Ballinger Bearcats
Hico was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were just a hair shy of victory and fell 27-26 to the Ballinger Bearcats.
Cade Strube went supernova for Ballinger, rushing for 94 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries, while also throwing for 153 yards and two touchdowns. That's the most rushing yards Strube has posted since back in September. Hunter Kresta was Strube's top target, picking up 114 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Hico's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Ballinger, they moved to 5-5 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.
