There's no place like home for Lamar, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They were the clear victors by an 8-1 margin over the Jasper Eagles on Monday. Considering the Tigers have won seven contests by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Lamar pushed their record up to 13-4 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Jasper, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-6 record this season.

Lamar will square off against Monett at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jasper, they will challenge New Heights Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cougars will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight.
