Baseball Recap: Pasco Takes a Loss

Fans were treated to a battle of the Bulldogs on Tuesday. Pasco fell just short of Hermiston by a score of 2-1. Pasco's defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Caleb Szendre made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run. Pasco is 2-1 when Szendre posts two or more stolen bases, but 2-13 otherwise.

Pasco's loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Hermiston, they moved to 5-14 with that win, which also ended their ten-game losing streak.

Coming up, Pasco will challenge Chiawana at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Riverhawks have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.63 runs per game on average), something the Bulldogs will no doubt try to take advantage of. Hermiston does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
