Softball Recap: Connell Beats Columbia for Their Fourth Straight Victory

Connell won the last time they faced Columbia and things went their way on Saturday too. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 14-1 margin over the Coyotes. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matches by 11 runs or more this season.

The victory (which was Connell's fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Columbia, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-6.

Connell didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 10-9 victory against Kiona-Benton on the 15th.
