Bourne put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. Their defense stepped up to hand the Sandwich Blue Knights a 19-0 shutout.

Bourne's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Sandwich, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bourne will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Monomoy at 6:00 p.m. on October 3. As for Sandwich, they will challenge Seekonk at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
