Basketball Recap: De Beque Skates Past West Grand with Ease + How To Watch

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask De Beque). They really took it to the West Grand Mustangs for the full four quarters, racking up a 71-43 victory. The win continues a trend for the Dragons in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now won four in a row.

De Beque had a senior duo take command as Burke Largent went 10-for-17 on his way to 24 points and five assists and Jace Graham dropped a double-double with 15 points and 12 boards. Thanks to that strong game, Largent now owns an excellent 45.5% shooting accuracy. Trenton Sandidge was another key player, putting up seven points and three steals.

De Beque was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

West Grand's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sanjay Geffers, who almost dropped a double-double with 20 points and nine rebounds. Another player making a difference was Hugo Gonzalez, who posted nine points along with six boards and four blocks.

De Beque's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for West Grand, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.
