Volleyball Recap: Grand Canyon's Losing Streak Snapped at Seven Games

While Grand Canyon's win against Greyhills Academy wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Phantoms had just enough and edged out the Knights 3-2. The victory was some much needed relief for the Phantoms as it spelled an end to their seven-match losing streak.

Grand Canyon picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 2-7. As for Greyhills Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-12 record this season.

After both having extra time off, Grand Canyon and St. Michael will shake off the rust and duke it out at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Greyhills Academy, they will head out to face off against Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
