Basketball Recap: Erik Baier Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Steamboat Springs

Delta hadn't done well against Steamboat Springs recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Delta Panthers managed a 60-55 victory over the Steamboat Springs Sailors. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 52-49 back in January.

Delta got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Erik Baier out in front who dropped a double-double with 18 points and 11 boards. Delta is 2-1 when Baier posts 15 or more points, but 8-10 otherwise. Another player making a difference was JP Gallegos, who posted 17 points.
