Football Recap: Hawthorne Victorious

The Hawthorne Bears earned a 25-12 victory over the Wallington Panthers on Thursday.

Hawthorne's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Wallington, they dropped their record down to 1-1 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Hawthorne and Wallington will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Bears are set to square off against their familiar foe Butler at 7:00 p.m. on the 12th. Meanwhile, Wallington will challenge rival Bogota at 7:00 p.m. on the 12th.
