Volleyball Recap: Monroe Area Comes Up Short

Monroe Area was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Loganville Red Devils. If the Purple Hurricanes were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Red Devils when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Monroe Area's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Loganville, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Monroe Area will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Prince Avenue Christian at 3:00 p.m. As for Loganville, they will square off against Cherokee Bluff at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
