Baseball Recap: Holyoke Comes Up Short

Holyoke was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 19-9 to the Prairie Mustangs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 on Monday.

Holyoke's loss dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Prairie, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-4.

Coming up, Holyoke will square off against Akron at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Dragons will need to watch out since the Rams have now posted at least ten runs in their last three contests. As for Prairie, they will challenge Caliche at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Mustangs are facing the Buffaloes at the right time seeing as the Buffaloes are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
