It was a good run, but Edison unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Monday. They fell just short of the Bishop McNamara Mustangs by a score of 5-4.

Edison's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Bishop McNamara, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-6.

Coming up, Edison will square off against South County at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Stallions have averaged an impressive 8.7 runs per game this season. As for Bishop McNamara, they will challenge Woodson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
