After losing to Elkhorn the last time they met, Ashland-Greenwood decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Ashland-Greenwood Bluejays snuck past the Elkhorn Antlers with a 54-48 victory on Thursday.

Despite the loss, Elkhorn still got an impressive performance from Jake Petersen, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 12 rebounds. Those 19 points gave Petersen a new career-high. Nixon Farmer was another key player, putting up 13 points.

Ashland-Greenwood has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. As for Elkhorn, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-9.

Coming up, Ashland-Greenwood will venture away from home to square off against Malcolm on Tuesday. As for Elkhorn, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Hastings at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
