Baseball Game Preview: Wawasee Warriors vs. Plymouth Pilgrims/Rockies

The Wawasee Warriors will head out to take on the Plymouth Pilgrims/Rockies at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Wawasee is looking for their season's first victory.

Wawasee fell victim to Northridge and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 11-0 to the Raiders.

Plymouth came out on top against Goshen on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run fifth inning. The Pilgrims/Rockies took their matchup against the RedHawks 8-4. The game was the first time the Pilgrims/Rockies have beaten the RedHawks on their field since May 11, 2022.

The team relied heavily on Ethan Hall, who went 3-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in May of 2024. Drake Feece was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one home run and four RBI.

They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: Plymouth lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Plymouth's record is now 6-7. As for Wawasee, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.

Wawasee came up short against Plymouth in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, falling 5-0. Can the Warriors avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
