            Baseball Recap: Evansville Reitz Panthers vs. Jasper Wildcats        
        
		
        
        
            Evansville Reitz won the last time they faced Jasper and things went their way  on Tuesday too. The Panthers skirted past the Wildcats  5-4. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Panthers.

  Bradyn Angel and  Keagan Hauke did most of the damage at the plate:  Angel  went 3-for-4 with two  RBI and one  run, while  Hauke  went 1-for-2 with one  run, one  double,  and one  RBI. Evansville Reitz is undefeated when  Angel posts three or  more  hits, but 1-4 otherwise.  Oliver Gates also deserves some recognition as  he  hit his first  triple of the season.
The  victory  got Evansville Reitz back to even at 4-4. As for Jasper, their  defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 6-5.
 Coming up, Evansville Reitz will venture away from home to  take on Southridge  at 6:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Jasper, they will host Evansville Bosse  at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The Bulldogs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.6  runs per game on average), something the Wildcats will no doubt try to take advantage of.
