Soccer Recap: Wyoming Area Comes Up Short

After flying high against Gregory The Great Academy on Wednesday, Wyoming Area came back down to earth. The Warriors lost 5-2 to the Valley View Cougars on Saturday. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Wyoming Area were already down 3-0.

Noah Kostik and Benjamin Rogish scored both of Wyoming Area's goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

Wyoming Area's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Valley View, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Wyoming Area and Valley View will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Warriors are set to face off against their familiar foe Wyoming Seminary College Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Valley View will square off against rival Scranton at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
