Volleyball Recap: Liberal Arts & Science Academy - Austin Takes a Loss

Liberal Arts & Science Academy - Austin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Texas School for the Deaf Rangers. The Raptors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rangers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2022.

Liberal Arts & Science Academy - Austin's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Texas School for the Deaf, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Liberal Arts & Science Academy - Austin will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on McCallum at 7:30 p.m. on September 12. As for Texas School for the Deaf, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Travis on the 15th.
