Softball Recap: Holy Trinity Takes a Loss

Holy Trinity made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Cristo Rey Jesuit, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Tigers fell just short of the Cristeros by a score of 10-8 on Monday. The Tigers just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row.

Holy Trinity's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Cristo Rey Jesuit, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-6.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Holy Trinity will face off against Regina Dominican at 4:30 p.m. on the 21st. As for Cristo Rey Jesuit, they will challenge Walther Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Broncos will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something the Cristeros surely won't give up without a fight.
