Recap: Pickens County Tornadoes vs. Wadley Bulldogs
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Pickens County Tornadoes walked away with it. They snuck past the Bulldogs with a 18-14 win on Friday. The win was familiar territory for Pickens County who now have six in a row.
Pickens County was led to victory by Santonio Jones and Kemaurion Plott. Jones picked up 94 receiving yards and two touchdowns, while Plott threw for 193 yards and three touchdowns.
Pickens County's win bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Wadley, their loss dropped their record down to 11-2.
Pickens County will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Coosa Christian at 7:00 p.m. on December 1st. Coosa Christian is coming into the match hot, having won their last seven games. Wadley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
