Softball Recap: Severna Park Takes a Loss

Severna Park fell victim to Crofton and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They fell just short of Crofton by a score of 2-0. The game marked the first time this season in which the Falcons were not able to get on the board.

Severna Park has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. Crofton's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Severna Park will challenge rival Northeast at 4:45 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Crofton is set to square off against their familiar foe Annapolis on Friday.
