Gibbon takes loss despite strong efforts from Claire Clark and Brooke Sell

Recap: Gibbon Buffaloes vs. Centura Centurions
The Gibbon Buffaloes's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their sixth straight loss. They were outmatched by Centura on the road and fell 72-23. Gibbon was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 51-14.
Despite the defeat, Gibbon had strong showings from Brooke Sell, who scored five points along with five rebounds and three steals, and Claire Clark, who scored six points along with two steals.
Gibbon's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Centura, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-5.
Gibbon will head out on the road to challenge Giltner at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Giltner is out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home. Centura won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Centennial at 4:30 p.m. on January 20th.
