Volleyball Recap: Prospect Ridge Academy Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Prospect Ridge Academy came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Forge Christian Fury, falling 3-0. The Miners were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Fury apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Prospect Ridge Academy took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-18, 26-24.

Brook Luhmann paced Prospect Ridge Academy's offense, picking up ten kills. Luhmann got some help from Hannah Karpowich and her 11 assists. Karpowich also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Ceira Trinta, each putting up two.

Prospect Ridge Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 17-5. As for Forge Christian, the win was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-3.

Prospect Ridge Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Stargate School on the 30th. As for Forge Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Timnath on the 1st.
