Volleyball Recap: ALAINA CASTRONOVO and EMMA LYON Secure Win for Escondido Charter

Fans were treated to a battle of the Tigers on Saturday. Escondido Charter came out on top against Morse by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for Escondido Charter, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Escondido Charter was led to victory by EMMA LYON and ALAINA CASTRONOVO. LYON had five aces and three digs, while CASTRONOVO had six aces. CASTRONOVO is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last three games she's played.

They weren't the only good servers: Escondido Charter was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 16 aces. They are 15-1 when they serve at least ten aces.

Escondido Charter's record is now 19-10. As for Morse, they moved to 12-14 with that defeat, which also ended their four-match winning streak.
