Monroe Area's leading rusher did his thing again on Friday. Jitt Carr wasn't messing around, rushing for 114 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries. The match was his fourth straight with two or more rushing touchdowns.

Carr and Monroe Area will look to defend their home field on Friday against Hart County at 7:00 p.m. The Purple Hurricanes had to take a loss when they last met the Bulldogs, but Carr had little to do with the loss: he rushed for 118 yards on only 15 carries, and also picked up 30 receiving yards.
