Volleyball Recap: East Texas Homeschool Sports Takes a Loss

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times East Texas Homeschool Sports and Tyler HEAT have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Tuesday. The Chargers lost 3-0 to Tyler HEAT. The Chargers have struggled against Tyler HEAT recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-19, 25-14.

East Texas Homeschool Sports' offense was headlined by Carlee Oliver and Katie Walton, who picked up three kills apiece. They got some help from London Reitinger and her eight assists.

East Texas Homeschool Sports' defeat dropped their record down to 12-17. As for Tyler HEAT, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 25-5.

Coming up, East Texas Homeschool Sports will look to defend their home court on Monday against Christian Heritage at 7:00 p.m. As for Tyler HEAT, they are taking a road trip to challenge CHAAMP HomeSchool at 7:00 p.m. on the 9th.
