Softball Recap: Prosper Takes a Loss

Prosper fell victim to Allen and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They lost 8-0 to Allen. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, Prosper's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Prosper now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Allen, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 14-3.

Prosper and Allen should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. The Eagles will take on Princeton at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (372 vs. 844). Meanwhile, Allen (ranked 70th) will meet McKinney Boyd (ranked 586th) at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
