Archbishop Murphy waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They took their game with ease, bagging a 64-33 victory over the Mountlake Terrace Hawks. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 15th, while the Hawks are ranked 214th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Archbishop Murphy's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 32.6 points. As for Mountlake Terrace, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Archbishop Murphy will take on Shorewood at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Archbishop Murphy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven contests -- so hopefully Shorewood likes a good challenge.
