Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Maine South). They never let the Glenbrook North Spartans get on the board and left with a 56-0 win on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Hawks in their matchups with the Spartans: they've now won seven in a row.

Maine South's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Glenbrook North, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Maine South is set to challenge their familiar foe Glenbrook South at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Hawks 12.6, the Titans 13.1) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Glenbrook North will take on rival New Trier at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
