Football Recap: Estero Takes a Loss

If Estero was feeling good fresh off their 53-20 takedown of Ida Baker last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Estero Wildcats had to suffer through a 39-7 loss at the hands of the Cape Coral Seahawks. Despite 74 more yards than the Seahawks, the Wildcats couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.

Maddox Stewart rushed for 39 yards, and also threw for 91 yards and a touchdown. Nathan Hood was his top target, picking up 30 receiving yards.

As for Cape Coral, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Charlotte at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
