Football Game Preview: Lone Peak Big Horns vs. Sheridan Panthers

After each having a week off, the Lone Peak Big Horns and the Sheridan Panthers will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

Lone Peak is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They breezed past Park City to the tune of 72-22 last Friday. The Big Horns pushed the score to 65-22 by the end of the third, a deficit the Panthers had no chance of recovering from.

Meanwhile, Sheridan took their game last Saturday with ease, bagging a 46-12 victory over Manhattan Christian. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

Sheridan's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Lone Peak, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 3-1.

Everything came up roses for Lone Peak against Sheridan in their previous matchup back in October of 2023, as the squad secured a 48-7 win. Do the Big Horns have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Panthers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
